For being involved in creative photomontage, there is only one requirement: that you love to play. Forget all the warnings about nondestructive imaging. Montage is complete destruction of raw material. No pixel is left untouched. A bit like alchemy: the original Prime Matter transform into the Philosopher Stone with of the aggressive action of Photoshop elements. Access it without fear. Usually I choose not aesthetically exquisite photographs for the process, important factors are usually sharpness and high resolution, which will endure handling without losing structure. I often use scanned material (sketches, materials from nature ...), so it helps if you have collectors nature.
